Who we are

Seventeen years of keeping other people's promises.

Xpressgologistics started in 2009 with two trucks and a rented shed near JNPT. What hasn't changed is the reason customers stay: the people who move your freight are on our payroll, not a subcontractor's two phone calls away.

The difference

We kept the hard parts in-house

Most carriers our size hand customs, dispatch and last-mile delivery to somebody else. We brought all three onto our own payroll — the customs licence first, in 2012, then dispatch, then the tracking desk.

It costs more to run. It's also the only reason we can promise a 1.4% paperwork query rate, a four-hour dock-to-road window, and a named person who picks up when a truck is late. Accountability is hard to outsource, so we stopped trying.

How we got here

A short history of a long supply chain

Eight moments that changed how the company works. Pick a year.

Two trucks and a rented shed

Xpressgologistics opens in Navi Mumbai, moving containers for JNPT exporters. Six people, two vehicles and one landline.

2 Vehicles1 City
01

The customs licence

We bring customs brokerage in-house instead of hiring it out — the decision that still shapes how the company works. Paperwork queries fall from 9% to under 3% in a year.

1 CHA licence−67% Doc queries
02

Surface network goes national

Scheduled part-load departures link Mumbai, Delhi, Bengaluru and Kolkata. The first fixed timetable in the company's history.

03

E-commerce changes everything

A marketplace contract pushes daily volume past 100,000 parcels. We build our own sorting software because nothing on the market keeps up.

04

The control tower

One tracking layer replaces seven partner portals. Customers stop calling to ask where things are, because the updates now come to them.

05

Fulfilment and bonded warehousing

Eighteen fulfilment centres open in fourteen months, including bonded space at Mumbai and Chennai. Xpressgologistics becomes a 3PL, not just a carrier.

Electric first mile

The first 250 electric vehicles go into city service across six cities. Emissions per tonne-kilometre start falling for the first time, even as volume grows.

The people accountable for your freight

Six people, one escalation path. You'll meet at least two of them in your first quarter.

What we believe

Four things we won't compromise on

We own the outcome

If a box is late, it's our problem before it's yours. One escalation desk, one named person, and no hunting through a partner network to find who's responsible.

Visibility isn't a feature

You should never have to ask where something is. Every update comes to you - you don't go looking for it.

Operators, not resellers

Our brokers, dispatchers and tracking staff are on our payroll. That's why you get an answer in minutes instead of a callback.

Lighter by design

Move more by rail, fill trucks properly, report honestly. We'd rather cut emissions than buy a certificate that says we did.

Sustainability

Lighter freight, measured honestly

Every consignment ships with a verified CO₂ figure at no extra cost. These are the numbers behind it, published whether they flatter us or not.

161gCO₂eper tonne-km−14% year on year, GLEC-aligned
3.61M kWhsolar generatedAcross 29 rooftop installations
28,400tCO₂e avoidedModal shift to rail and EV, FY26
0.42LTIFRLost-time injuries per million hours

Where the fleet is going

Three commitments with a published target, checked every quarter rather than once at year end.

Alternative-fuel fleet610 + 380 vehicles

610 electric and 380 CNG vehicles out of a 4,240-strong fleet — 23% and rising.

Rooftop solar generating capacity5.4 MW

5.4 MW installed across 29 sites, generating 3.61 million kWh in FY26.

Sustainable packaging inputs68%

68% of consumables are recycled or FSC-certified, up from 41% two years ago.

Emissions per tonne-kilometre

Grams of CO₂, worked out on the GLEC framework and independently checked. Down 25% in four years, while volume nearly tripled.

We stopped chasing three carriers and a spreadsheet. Xpressgologistics took the whole route, cut nine days out of it, and now tells us about delays before our own team spots them.
